What If I’m Not Creative?
I'm not creative. I don't paint, draw, sculpt, dance, or play music. Have you ever said that?
Here’s the thing. Defining yourself as "not creative" based on this very narrow view of creativity can severely limit what you think you're capable of. So…let's change that, shall we?
Acceptance Without Resignation
Just accept it! Has anyone ever said that to you? Did it help? I'm just going to go out on a limb here and assume it didn't help any more than being told to calm down helps when you're upset.
The Value of Rest
Statistically, taking more vacation results in greater success at work as well as lower stress and more happiness at work and home.
Something Greater
Have you ever felt tiny, I mean really aware of your place in the universe? The kind of tiny you feel when standing on the top of a mountain looking across the mountain range and realizing that all of those tiny specks of trees you see in the distance actually tower over you?
Traveling Synergy
Traveling has a way of pulling you out of yourself as few other things can. What's more, travel experiences are regularly more than the sum of their parts. Take a cranky family, add distance from home, sunshine, some unique experiences, and a few things that don't go quite as planned and you create a kind of magic.
Beautiful Synergy
Have you ever gotten so into doing something that you lost track of time? Was it a book, a project, or a part of your job?
The People We Meet Along The Way
Ask any seasoned traveler what the best part of their last trip was and they'll likely say it was the people they met. You might think it odd especially if they enjoyed a place renowned for food, art, or entertainment, but they just can't stop talking about the waiter at this one little hole-in-the-wall restaurant and their host at a B&B. Why are they so fascinated?
Connecting With Your Intuition
Have you ever just been drawn to something? If so, it probably felt as if that experience was meant to be in your life.
Seeing With Clear Eyes
What would life be like if you walked through your days with clear eyes? What if you saw the things that happen as challenges and opportunities rather than as insurmountable problems?
