Sabbatical Planning & Coaching

You’ve worked HARD, and you need a break!

I’m here to help you take that break without the stress of figuring it all out on your own. After all, you’ll have plenty to juggle up until the very last day before your sabbatical, won’t you?

Whether you envision using your sabbatical trip to explore family roots, the history of your faith, go on a pilgrimage, or write a book, I’ve got you covered.

Though sabbaticals are traditionally taken by academics and faith leaders, anyone can choose to take a sabbatical. The time away from work, responsibilities, and home is meant to be restorative. That restoration is vital for you to come back to work and daily life with an open heart and renewed energy. It’s not just you who will benefit, but everyone around you will too.

Knowing you need the time away is one thing; making it happen is another.

While some folks have plenty of time to research, plan, and focus their trips, most don’t. That’s where I come in. I’ve been on all sides of sabbaticals - planning them for others, taking them as a family, and holding down the fort while others are on theirs.

I can help with:

  1. Narrowing down the plan, focus, and story for your sabbatical so that you can start to dream

  2. Researching the costs of a trip so you can apply for a grant

  3. Helping you fine-tune the plan and build a trip based on your budget, whether it's self-paid, organization-paid, or grant-funded.

Let’s be honest, by the time you are looking into how and where to take a sabbatical, you’re likely on the verge of needing it right now. Let’s get you the rest and renewal you need!
